I have approached one here of whom I learnt through investigations into my own proposal, was going for the tender. In negotiations with them have decided to NOT go for the tender but collaborate with them as I have a lot of respect for their organisation and they have good history in New Zealand.
It does raise the question though of 'are these providers understanding the tender process'?
and many, I would say will NOT be successful in their operations if they get their tenders, without the input of the current Non and District Truancy Services.
So I would advise all existing NET and DTS's to hang in there.
Food for thought.....sd
